• DESC seeks to recruit the very best teachers who will help us to continue to provide this high standard of education.
• They will be involved primarily in teaching one-to-one and group lessons on following both the ABRSM or Trinity examination syllabi, together with general theory, aural and musicianship. They will have responsibility for a range of other music activities including performances for school assemblies, concerts and shows.
• The successful applicant will
• Have the relevant qualifications (a degree from a recognised Music College)
• Be talented and highly motivated, with a proven track record of accompanying all grades in either ABRSM or Trinity examination boards.
• Have experience of being an MD or Rehearsal Pianist
• Be willing to contribute in a positive manner to all aspects of the College's vision, including extra-curricular activities.
• Have the ability to teach a second instrument, although not essential.
