IDC was recognized by the Institute of Industry Analyst Relations (IIAR>) as the 2024 Analyst Firm of the Year for delivering critical, timely insights in coordinated efforts around the world, during a time when our customers faced unprecedented challenges.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong><strong> </strong></p> <ul> <li>Account management with outcome of increased overall YoY Total Bookings </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Acquisition of new logos </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Proficiency in account planning and territory management </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Accurate daily activity reporting, and monthly/quarterly/annual forecasting </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Learn IDC products and services that align with your territory, accounts, and competitors </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Help clients get the most value out of their market research investment and will focus on renewing contracts, business retention, and account growth </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Communicate, coordinate, and collaborate with other internal IDC stakeholders to continue to develop opportunities within account base  </li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>3+ years of quota carrying technology related sales experience, along with strong written, analytical, and verbal communication skills </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Strong cold-calling experience </li> </ul> <ul> <li>The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience developing both existing and prospect accounts while developing high level relationships </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Additionally, this person will be entrepreneurial, motivated, assertive, and collaborative, as well as be a self-starter and a quick-thinker </li> </ul> <ul> <li>This position requires strong time management and organization skills </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Prior market research industry sales experience is helpful, but not required </li> </ul> <p><strong>Why This Role Stands Out</strong> At IDC, your work helps shape how the world understands technology and where it goes next.
