    We are seeking a

    Director, IT Governance

    to join Zions Bancorporation. This Director will play a pivotal role in improving the IT governance framework across the organization. This leader will be charged with ensuring that IT policies, procedures, and practices align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. This role will partner with leaders throughout the organization to ensure compliance and lead governance-related initiatives.  This leader will also be responsible for helping define and drive the overall Technology Strategy.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement, and manage the overall IT governance framework and strategy for the organization.
    • Establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure regulatory and security compliance.
    • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of IT governance and control processes.
    • Collaborate with business and technology leaders to ensure IT governance initiatives are aligned with strategic business outcomes.
    • Maintain responsibility for planning, budgeting, and monitoring of IT governance initiatives and projects.
    • Manage development and implementation of department projects through team members. 
    • Manage the overall technology strategy and governance across the organization.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

     

    Qualifications:

    • 10+ years of experience in IT governance, risk management, compliance, or audit.
    • 8+ years of enterprise stakeholder management experience, driving complex programs across multiple divisions.
    • Effective stakeholder management experience across a complex enterprise agenda.
    • Executive and board-level management and reporting background.
    • Extensive knowledge of IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL), project management, and compliance standards.
    • Advanced technical background with the ability to understand and assess technology risks.
    • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues while meeting deadlines and schedules.
    • Exceptional negotiation and facilitation abilities.
    • Requires a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.

     

     

    Location:

     

    This position can be located 100% remote within the United States or located at the new Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.

     

    Pay Range:

    $190,000–$220,000 (Based upon relatable skills/experience)
