Job Purpose and Impact The Field Representative - Retail (Open to Remote within US) will participate in face-to-face and remote selling to the company's new and existing customers, selling directly or indirectly through various sales channels. In this role, you will help assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and business solutions. This role is part of the sales team in Animal Nutrition, will support the state of Alabama, 80% travel is required to cover the territory.

Responsibilities

  • Development and delivery of sales proposals and conducting detailed presentations for effective business planning and pormotions.
  • Build a business plan for each account developing strong client relationships.
  • Plan daily activities, including customer visits and establish quantitative and qualitative objectives to achieve.
  • Follow market and competition evolution, relaying information to senior staff.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field OR equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience in sales, retail, business development or related field
  • Ability to travel locally up to 80% of the time
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing

Nice-to-haves

  • Five or more years of sales experience
  • Agricultural or animal health industry experience
  • Salesforce and Microsoft Office experience
  • Experience in Retail Business planning
