<p>The <a href="http://www.acr.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>American College of Radiology</strong></a> is a professional association serving over 40,000 members across the United States.  Consistent with the ACR’s mission to advance the practice of radiology and improve the health outcomes of the populations we serve, the ACR’s Center for Research and Innovation (CRI) has been a world leader in radiology clinical research for over 50 years.  Over this period, the CRI has conducted clinical research trials and other research projects that have transformed the practice of radiology, informed the development of clinical practice standards, led to new device approvals, and changed healthcare policy.</p> <p>The CRI serves as the core radiology resource for NCI multicenter clinical trials involving diagnostic or therapeutic radiology.  And, through active research committees in neuroradiology, cardiology, oncology, and pediatrics, the CRI has developed and delivered a diverse range of research studies in partnerships with academia and commercial sponsors.  Research studies range from prospective clinical trials to retrospective reader studies, clinical and imaging registries, novel imaging methods and imaging software, validation of biomarkers, radiomic feature analysis, and AI algorithm development and validation.</p> <p>Based on these strategic objectives, ACR is seeking a <strong>Clinical Research Project Specialist </strong>to provide support to ACR study initiatives across the College.</p> <p><strong>As a member of the ACR team, you will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Drive Site Activation & Management: Partner with research site staff to streamline and support activation, accrual, ongoing operations, and close-out activities for assigned clinical research studies.</li> <li>Develop Core Study Documents: Draft and refine essential clinical study documents, including project plans, protocols, informed consent forms (ICFs), and site facing operational resources.</li> <li>Coordinate Approvals & Proposals: Generate and manage concept documents for IRBs, imaging oversight committees, grant applications, and business proposals.</li> <li>Facilitate Team Collaboration: Lead protocol team operations by managing regular calls, distributing action-oriented minutes, coordinating protocol amendments, and facilitating site educational sessions.</li> <li>Own Project Execution: Manage and track all assigned project deliverables, providing regular metrics and progress reports to leadership and external stakeholders.</li> <li>Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee that all study activities and documentation strictly adhere to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Successful candidates will possess:</strong></p> <p><strong>Key Skills & Competencies</strong></p> <ul> <li>Mission Alignment: A genuine passion for advancing research in the neuroscience/neurocognitive field (e.g., Alzheimer’s research, etc.).</li> <li>AI & Technical Proficiency: Practical experience with Copilot AI prompt engineering and writing, complemented by a mastery of MS Office and Smartsheet.</li> <li>Operational Execution: Proven track record in clinical research operations and customer success management.</li> <li>Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a knack for curating internal/external communications and managing shifting priorities.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience & Education</strong></p> <ul> <li>Clinical Research Expertise: 3+ years of related experience, with a strong preference for CRO or clinical research project management backgrounds.</li> <li>Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.</li> <li>Industry Standards: Solid knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).</li> </ul> <p>If you would like to put your experience to great use in a professional team-oriented environment, please apply online.
