Responsibilities

  • Subjects to be taught: Audio/Video 1 & 2: Broadcasting and Audio Production
  • Grades: 9th-12th
  • Mentor students in producing a weekly 15-minute news broadcast
  • Assist students in planning, recording, editing, and producing media content.
  • Provide tutoring support to large groups of students.
  • Tutors will have access to information about class assignments
  • Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies
  • Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart Tutors staff
  • Partner with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students

Requirements

  • MUST hold a completed 4-year degree
  • Teaching or tutoring experience in Audio and Video is required: Must have experience with broadcasting & streaming, video production, video production, and audio production softwares,
  • In-person availability is required
  • Scheduled hours: Tuesdays OR Thursdays from 9:30 AM to 1:15 PM CST
  • Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.
