**Job Title**: **Medical Coding Trainer** **Location**: Doha, Qatar **Job Type**: Part-Time **About the Role**: This role requires a combination of theoretical knowledge, practical coding experience, and excellent communication skills to deliver effective training both in classroom and online formats. **Key Responsibilities**: - Deliver high-quality training in **Medical Coding** aligned with **AAPC** or **AHIMA** standards. - Teach topics such as **ICD-10-CM**, **CPT**, **HCPCS**, **medical terminology**, **anatomy & physiology**, **reimbursement methodologies**, and **compliance regulations**. - Prepare customized course materials, mock tests, and practice scenarios for students. - Assess student performance through exams, assignments, and project evaluations. - Keep updated with changes in medical coding guidelines and ensure training content is current. - Mentor students in preparation for certifications such as **CPC (Certified Professional Coder)**. - Provide one-on-one doubt-clearing sessions and support students in their career development. - Assist in corporate training sessions for healthcare providers or insurance companies when required. **Qualifications & Requirements**: - Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field. - Must hold valid certifications such as **CPC, CCS, COC, or CPMA** from AAPC or AHIMA. - Minimum **2-4 years** of hands-on medical coding experience (hospital or physician-based). - Minimum **1-2 years of experience** in training or mentoring medical coding aspirants. - Strong understanding of healthcare documentation, insurance billing, and reimbursement policies. - Proficient in training both offline and via online platforms (Zoom, MS Teams, etc.). - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to handle diverse learners and ensure high pass rates in certification exams. **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time Pay: QAR35.00 - QAR50.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week **Experience**: - Medical Coding: 3 years (preferred) **Location**: - Doha (required)
