CIB (Corporate and Institutional Banking)

HSBC Corporate and Institutional Banking is a markets-led, financing-focused business that provides investment and financial solutions. Through our international network, we connect emerging and mature markets, covering key growth areas. We partner with our corporate, government and institutional clients to help them achieve consistent, long-term performance. Our products and services include advisory, financing, prime services, research and analysis, securities services, trading and sales and transaction banking.

HSBC International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB)

We help customers to take care of their day-to-day finances and to manage, protect and grow their wealth. Our international network and breadth of expertise enable us to support individuals, families, business owners, investors and entrepreneurs around the world.

Digital Business Service

Digital Business Services (DBS) provides essential support for the bank through operations, technology, central business services, and our worldwide network of Chief Operating Officers. DBS has responsibilities that include: Running customer service operations and business processes from contact centers to payments processing, developing software and applications that underpin HSBC’s banking systems, managing IT systems, infrastructure and support, implementing major strategic change programs, procuring goods and services for the Group, Managing HSBC’s global corporate real estate portfolio.

Risk and Compliance

Group Risk & Compliance takes a comprehensive view of risk for the Group, playing a key role in helping the bank to deliver on its strategy.

  • Risk oversees a comprehensive risk management framework that is applied throughout the Group
  • Compliance exists to protect our customers, the organisation and the integrity of the financial markets in which we operate

Role Purpose:

  • The Graduate Programme is 18 months to 2-year rotational program offering ‘on the job’ training experience in a fast paced dynamic environment for new and recent graduates.
  • The programme focuses on providing participants with professional development opportunities and real time tailored personal growth opportunities.

Knowledge, Experience and Qualification required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant area with min GPA 2.8/4.0.
  • Knowledge of international business and various industry sectors.
  • Exposure to and appreciation of working in a global environment.
  • Strong ‘team’ skills promoting an environment of co-operation and trust, overcoming resistance where encountered.
  • Possess analytical and financial skills.
  • Good prioritizing, organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to make decisions.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills.
  • Only Qatari Nationals will be considered.
