Current benefits include:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary commensurate with experience.</li> <li>Brand new facility with endless opportunity for professional development and continued education</li> <li>Supportive work environment that values teamwork and collaboration.</li> <li>Cutting-edge medical facilities and advanced technologies.</li> <li>Opportunities for career growth and advancement.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>COMPENSATION</strong></p> <p>Compensation for roles at Coachella Valley Behavioral Health varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, role, skill set.   As required by local law, Coachella Valley Behavioral Health provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Request and process all bills to third party payors and patients, maximizing re-imbursement of services provided to achieve established hospital goals.</li> <li>Responsible for accurate and timely data entry of charges, payments, adjustments and other transactions to patient accounts as required to include both insurance and patient billing for charges incurred. </li> <li>Responsible for timely follow-up to insurance companies on billing submitted in order to allow for an effective and efficient cash flow of hospital receivables.</li> <li>Record both A/R and miscellaneous cash.</li> <li>Prepare bank deposits and post cash and adjustments to patient records as required.</li> <li>Balance A/R and maintain supporting reports as per department policy.</li> <li>Retrieve and perform electronic billing to insurance companies in a timely manner.</li> <li>Make follow up calls to insurance companies and guarantors as required.</li> <li>Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p><strong>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li> <li>Additional college course work preferred.</li> <li>Three years of business office experience, preferably in a hospital or medical office.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>We are committed to providing equal  employment opportunities to all applicants for employment regardless of an individual’s characteristics protected by applicable state, federal and local laws.</p> <p> </p> <p>CVBH</p>
