<strong>Description<br><br></strong><strong>Summary: <br><br></strong>The Senior Supplier Manager is responsible for leading and advancing Huntington’s enterprise supplier management programs across a portfolio of critical and strategic suppliers. This role provides thought leadership, governance direction, and execution oversight to ensure suppliers supporting Huntington’s business objectives are managed in alignment with regulatory expectations, risk appetite, and enterprise standards. The Senior Supplier Manager partners closely with Procurement, Third Party Risk Management (TPRM), Legal, Compliance, Technology, senior business leaders and plays a key role in maturing enterprise supplier management capabilities.<br><br><strong>Duties And Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Enterprise Strategy & Leadership</li><ul><li>Lead and oversee enterprise supplier management practices for assigned supplier portfolios.</li><li>Provide direction and guidance on supplier governance models, segmentation, and engagement strategies.</li><li>Ensure consistent application of enterprise supplier management standards and controls.</li><li>Present supplier management findings, results, concerns to company and supplier management teams.<br><br></li></ul></ul><ul><li>Supplier Performance & Relationship Management</li><ul><li>Oversee supplier performance against contractual commitments, KPIs, and SLAs.</li><li>Lead executive-level supplier governance and performance review forums.</li><li>Drive accountability for issue resolution, remediation, and continuous improvement.</li></ul><li>Cross‑Functional Leadership & Collaboration</li><ul><li>Partner with TPRM, Compliance, and Legal to ensure alignment with OCC, Federal Reserve, and FDIC guidance.</li><li>Identify, assess, and escalate supplier-related risks and concentration dependencies.</li><li>Support regulatory exams, internal audits, and management assurance activities.</li><li>Serve as a senior advisor to business leaders on supplier strategy and risk-informed engagement.</li><li>Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to address complex supplier issues.</li><li>Influence adoption of supplier management best practices across the enterprise.<br><br></li></ul></ul><li>Operational Excellence & Innovation</li><ul><li>Provide executive-level reporting on supplier health, risk posture, and performance trends.</li><li>Analyze supplier data to inform prioritization and strategic decisions.</li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement and maturity of supplier management processes and tools.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Basic Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree</li><li>8+ years of experience in procurement, vendor management, third party risk or comparable discipline such as project management, customer satisfaction, technology sales</li><li>Experience with regulated industry, preferable financial services</li><li>Demonstrated experience building or leading enterprise-wide functions<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Master’s Degree</li><li>Strong communications, financial acumen, negotiation skills and presentation skills</li><li>Familiarity with regulatory guidelines for third-party risk management</li><li>Ability to work with sense of urgency and prioritize competing priorities</li><li>Drives for results</li><li>Ability to consolidate and analyze data, draw conclusions, make strategic decisions timely</li><li>Resiliency in ambiguous and stressful situations</li><li>Ability to conduct crucial conversations diplomatically, and diffuse volatile situations calmly and comfortably<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Exempt Status: (Yes</strong> = not eligible for overtime pay) (<strong>No</strong> = eligible for overtime pay)<br><br>Yes<br><br><strong>Workplace Type<br><br></strong>Remote<br><br>Our Approach to <strong>Office </strong>Workplace Type<br><br>Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
