Job Summary:
As the Team Lead - Content at Creative Chaos, you will be responsible for overseeing the content team and ensuring that all content strategies align with our business objectives. You will drive the creation of impactful content that engages our target audience, optimizes performance across platforms, and enhances brand awareness. Additionally, you will mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Responsibilities:

Content & Editorial Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a growing team of writers, editors, and creative producers.

  • Maintain a high standard of writing and editorial quality across all communications.

  • Plan and execute content campaigns in coordination with demand generation, performance, and brand marketing teams.

Calendar & Workflow Management
  • Own the editorial and social media calendars, ensuring timely and strategic publishing of all content.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align content with broader marketing campaigns, product launches, and business goals.

Content Strategy & Development

Develop and manage content across all digital formats, including:

    • Website copy
    • SEO blog content
    • Thought leadership articles
    • Press releases
    • Long-form guides and eBooks
    • Power pages and landing pages
    • Email copy and social media posts
    • Ensure content aligns with the brand voice and supports SEO, lead generation, and conversion goals.

SEO & Digital Marketing Alignment
  • Collaborate with SEO and performance teams to develop content strategies that improve search rankings and drive qualified traffic.
  • Optimize existing content for SEO, readability, and engagement.

Quality Assurance & Editing
  • Oversee content QA processes to ensure factual accuracy, tone consistency, and flawless grammar.
  • Review and edit all deliverables before publication or distribution.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with design, product marketing, sales, and growth teams to ensure cohesive communication strategies.
  • Coordinate with external content partners, freelancers, and PR agencies when needed.

Performance & Optimization
  • Track performance metrics for content (e.g., engagement, rankings, conversions).
  • Use data to refine content strategy and inform future planning.

  • 5–8 years of experience in content marketing, editorial management, or marketing communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead content teams and manage editorial workflows.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a mix of SEO content, web copy, thought leadership, and digital assets.
  • Deep understanding of SEO best practices and tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console).
  • Proven experience with web content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and project management tools.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills and deadline discipline.
  • Experience working in B2B SaaS, fintech, or tech/startup environments is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with content types across the full funnel: awareness, consideration, and conversion stages.
