POSITION SUMMARY C.H. Robinson is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team and contribute to our commitment to excellence and unparalleled customer satisfaction. In this role, you will support vital operations tasks, ensuring seamless movement of inbound and outbound cargo from trailers or ocean containers within our warehouse. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following: Receive goods from customers and suppliers by offloading and loading vehicles, checking paperwork, weighing, measuring, and reporting discrepancies or damages Operate stand-up, sit-down forklifts, and hand jacks for palletization, stretch wrapping, and banding of cargo Load and unload trailers/ocean containers in a professional and damage-free manner Prepare outbound loads by matching paperwork, labeling, and handling Unit Load Device (ULD) preparation Sign off Bills of Lading accurately, verifying counts and damages Maintain the flow of materials and products in warehouses with varying degrees Stage cargo within the warehouse safely and orderly while maintaining standards of cleanliness and organization Ensure proper warehouse organization through the use of warehouse booking-in sheets or Warehouse Management System (site specific) Handle logistics accounts, picking, packing, inventory reporting/stock checks as needed to achieve quality standards outlined in SOPs or customer requirements, including reworking, or recouping of freight Site Specific: Completion of weekly bond checks Site Specific: Execute Dock-to-Stock procedures and regulations at all times, maintaining building perimeter security and challenging anything or anyone untoward Site Specific: Handle bonded import freight into the External Temporary Storage (ERTS) facility in accordance with regulations and breakdown of inbound ULD’s as required QUALIFICATIONS Required: Must be at least 18 years old Possess good physical stamina and coordination. Could be required to stand and/or walk for long periods daily while frequently bending, twisting, reaching, and periodically lifting up to 50 lbs. Compensation Range $17.17 - $25.36 The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location.
