McLane is seeking a strategic and people focused leader to manage our Vendor Management Office (VMO) within IT&D. This role is critical to ensuring strong governance, high performing vendor partnerships, and compliance while driving continuous improvement across a complex enterprise environment. This is a hybrid position which will require the candidate to report and work from the office at least three days a week. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Temple, TX. What You'll Do Lead and oversee the IT&D Vendor Management Office, including day to day operations, prioritization, and execution. Manage, coach, and develop Vendor Management teammates through ongoing feedback and performance reviews. Establish and enforce vendor governance standards, tools, and processes across IT&D. Own strategic vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with business and IT&D objectives . Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and vendor performance; lead QBRs and remediation efforts. Partner closely with Procurement, Finance, Legal, Security, and Third Party Risk Management. Ensure vendor engagements are cost effective, compliant, and aligned with McLane standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain scalable vendor management documentation. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, IT service management, or related disciplines. 3+ years of people leadership experience with a focus on coaching and developing teams. Strong expertise in vendor governance, SLAs, KPIs, contract management, and risk mitigation. Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross functional stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment while exercising sound judgment and discretion. Experience working with IT service providers, managed services, and contractor labor models preferred. Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job related tasks effectively and safely, including understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and essential workplace communications.
