Job Summary The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Cloud Architect to join us in Qatar. In this role, you will work as a subject matter expert in Red Hat’s infrastructure and cloud technology. You'll answer questions about best practices around automation, reliability, scalability, maintainability, high availability, and failover setups and lead the on-site delivery and implementation of Red Hat’s technology that delivers freedom, flexibility, and outstanding performance. You will gain an understanding of our customers' infrastructures, and business issues and you will make recommendations appropriate to their environments. What you will do Serve as a customer advocate, designing the right solutions and ensuring that they are implemented and supported in an innovative and reliable way Deliver successful discovery, analysis, and design workshops for small to medium teams of both technical and non-technical backgrounds that shape and inspire customer use cases and architecture design decisions Scope delivery projects and guide customers through successful pilot and production deployments Design, create, and deliver content that will enable the broader Red Hat organization to sell, service, and support our cloud and infrastructure solutions at scale Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hat's services capabilities, promote repeated customer engagements, and lower delivery risks Contribute to, and lead the delivery of Red Hat solutions based on the Red Hat tools and technologies What you will bring Prior experience working in a consulting role; ability to deliver in one-on-one assignments Good customer-facing skills; ability to present to customers and lead customer interactions Excellent knowledge of cloud and infrastructure technologies on a delivery level Experience implementing container technologies in an enterprise setting and with enterprise-wide deployments Knowledge of one or more Red Hat’s infrastructure solutions like Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform Understanding of the open source community Excellent problem-solving and planning skills Good written and verbal language skills in Arabic and English The following are considered a plus: Knowledge of AI technologies and Red Hat OpenShift AI Experience onboarding applications and application teams onto cloud or container platforms introducing DevOps, continuous delivery (CD) and application lifecycle management, and GitOps Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) certification Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification #LI-AM4 About Red Hat Red Hat is the world’s leading provider of enterprise open source software solutions, using a community-powered approach to deliver high-performing Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes technologies.
