This is our guiding compass to grow something great and to make life delicious!  This Customer Sales Manager – UNFI (CSM) position perfectly embodies that ambition, as you will own & be responsible for selling, planning and executing as part of the UNFI National Sales & Planning Team. The CSM serves as the key stakeholder between Kraft Heinz and our UNFI Category Management partners, leading all selling activities & driving efforts tied to improving our sales, gross margin & market share. This role is responsible for our entire Condiments Portfolio for the UNFI Customer, including our iconic HEINZ Brand! The CSM aims to deliver revenue and share objectives, pursue business strategies for growth, provide category management expertise and ensure that coordinated cross-functional sales value is delivered to the customer through implementation of the sales plan and shelving objectives.  Essential Functions & Responsibilities  • Own end to end business plans with our UNFI Category Management Partners  • Partner with the customer, building rapport at all levels, to fully understand their business, the marketplace and customer strategy to effectively impact business growth  • Achieve New Item Authorization goals and Core Business Objectives: Distribution, Revenue and Share Growth and Optimal Shelving Implementation across our retailers • Achieve promotional revenue objectives by tactic, price point, drive period & selling event while effectively implementing Kraft Heinz pricing strategies for owned categories  • Work cross-functionally with our internal teams to collaborate, build plans and execute with our UNFI Partners and our Retail Partners across all assigned category objectives  • Partner with our National Planning team to effectively manage volume forecasting across all category responsibility • Serve as the UNFI National Plan Lead for your respective categories for the regional Retailer CSMs • Maintain files and business documentation to thoroughly detail business transactions  • Partner cross-functionally to develop, champion and stand up new Ways of Working and process improvements across total UNFI Team Expected Experience & Required Skills  • Proven & tested experience in customer management, account management, and/or retail sales management for a CPG company  • Tested ability to own business process and Category management through a complex Sales position where you own a desk of roughly $90MM of business  • Proven skills embodying a customer-first mentality for effective customer management and selling to achieve objectives  • Trusted to work autonomously within a sales framework to plan, organize and set/achieve priorities  • Clear examples of exhibiting polished interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and presentation) with potential to negotiate and influence effectively  • Tested proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and proprietary Sales systems such as Nielsen, IRI, Spark, Tableau • Clear examples of exhibiting strong analytical skills; Has the ability & experience using syndicated and/or ambiguous data to develop comprehensive business plans by analyzing category and brand performance and influences customer to achieve category objectives.  Location • This is a Remote – US Based role • Willing to travel up to 5 times per year (5-10% of working weeks)  Our Total Rewards philosophy is to provide a meaningful and flexible spectrum of programs that equitably support our diverse workforce and their families and complement Kraft Heinz’ strategy and values. New Hire Base Salary Range: $104,200.00 - $130,200.00 Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
