**Job Summary**

As an IT Operations Manager at careerzynith, you'll be responsible for managing local and/or remote resources to deliver high-quality IT support services to our global organization. You'll work closely with our customers to define and deliver exceptional customer experiences, and develop strategies to create a seamless and efficient support experience. You'll also lead the development and implementation of knowledge management processes to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues, and identify opportunities to reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage local and/or remote resources to deliver high-quality IT support services to our global organization
  • Collaborate with customers to define and deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Develop and implement knowledge management processes to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues
  • Identify opportunities to reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement
  • Set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization
  • Guide the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new technologies and solutions
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge

**Essential Qualifications**

  • 5 years of experience developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations
  • 2 years of experience leading technology teams as an IT Operations Manager
  • Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of professional or military experience
  • Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration
  • Proven experience in IT support and customer service
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Experience with IT service management frameworks and tools
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and platforms

  • Certification in ITIL or other IT service management frameworks
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools
