What We Need

We're looking for a detail-oriented, positive team player to assist with coordinating and verifying information on loans at set up.?The Loan Coordinator is responsible for the initial review of submitted loans to ensure completeness and accuracy of all documentation prior to registration. The ideal applicant should have a background in service, and exceptional multitasking and problem-solving skills.   • What You’ll Do
  • Embrace and embody our company’s core values and consumer-centric model to provide superb customer service throughout the loan process.
  • Prepare and maintain all paperwork for existing and new loans, including loan disclosures.
  • Act as the initial point of contact once the application is completed.
  • Consistent follow-up and ability to stay on top of third parties to receive documents.
  • Assess the loan upon receipt and confirm all borrower information has been submitted into the loan origination system (LOS).
  • Record and review the borrower’s loan, property, credit, and financial information to ensure accuracy.
  • Provide assistance and status updates to the Loan Originator and borrower as needed.
  • Register, lock, and disclose files in collaboration with the internal parties.
  • Place orders and requests as needed per file, submit the file to the lender, and obtain third party documents (i.e., title, HOI, appraisal, HOA, etc.).
  • Move signed and disclosed files to processing for continuation of the loan process.
  • Collaborate and proactively communicate with internal and external parties such as:
  • Internal: Loan Originators, Loan Processors, Team Leaders, Lock Desk, and additional Operations team members
  • External: Underwriters, real estate agents, borrowers, Title companies, attorneys, HOI agents, and escrow agents
  • Follow-up and document any potential red flags to review (i.e., late payments within the Derogatory Summary of a credit report) in all applicable systems.
  • Become familiar with ARIVE (LOS) and various different lender portals.
  • Additional responsibilities related to business needs.

Requirements:

  • What You Need
  • Current experience in a coordinator role in a broker environment
  • Current experience working with UWM preferred
  • 2+ years of mortgage operations experience.
  • Experience registering, locking, and disclosing residential mortgage loans
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and accountable.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to learn quickly and operate independently in a high-volume role.
  • Ability to be highly motivated and goal oriented.
  • The ability to learn systems quickly.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
