<p><b><u>Job Description</u></b></p><p></p><p>Victaulic is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Business Intelligence (BI) team, providing program management and resource capacity coordination across BI disciplines such as BI Development, Data Engineering, and Center of Excellence.</p><p></p><p>This position will apply project management and agile methodology skills to manage scope, plan work, coordinate resources, and drive execution across the BI portfolio. Projects range from small to large, are cross-functional in impact, and are technical in nature. The Project Manager will collaborate with a team of Project Managers across the organization to make continuous improvements to project management practices.</p><p></p><p>As a global organization undergoing significant data and technology transformation — including an active ERP migration, a multi-phase cloud transformation, legacy reporting modernization, and an evolving BI Center of Excellence — the BI team manages a large, concurrent portfolio of strategic projects alongside ongoing production support. This Project Manager provides the program management muscle that keeps that portfolio coordinated, visible, and on track.</p><p></p><p>The Project Manager will provide leadership and transparency through all phases of the project lifecycle — planning, design, development, testing, and deployment — ensuring scope, schedule, quality, and benefits are clearly defined and delivered. Successful candidates will combine strong project management skills with exceptional interpersonal, communication, and <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">relationship-building</span> skills.</p><p></p><p>This role partners closely with BI Developers, Data Engineers, the BI Scrum Master, Customer Coordinators, and BI leadership.</p><p></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>Program and Project Management</p><p>· Apply project management and agile methodology skills to manage scope, plan work, coordinate resources, and drive execution across BI Development, Data Engineering, and BI Center of Excellence initiatives</p><p>· Manage projects of varying size and complexity that are cross-functional in impact and technical in nature</p><p>· Develop and maintain detailed project plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risks for concurrent workstreams</p><p>· Collaborate with project sponsors and business representatives to define project scope and vision</p><p>· Control project scope, schedules, milestones, resources, and issues throughout the project lifecycle</p><p>· Track and manage critical path across multiple parallel projects (e.g., ERP migration BI workstreams, data warehouse transformation, analytics platform migration, modern data warehousing implementation phases, legacy reporting modernization)</p><p>· Devise contingency plans to mitigate risk; manage expectations and escalate constructively when needed</p><p>· Identify creative and timely solutions to key challenges while motivating project teams to complete critical tasks</p><p>· Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget</p><p>· Manage multiple projects with overlapping schedules simultaneously</p><p>· Maintain a consolidated portfolio view to support BI leadership decision-making</p><p>· Develop and utilize standard templates to accurately and concisely convey project schedule and status</p><p></p><p>Resource Capacity Coordination</p><p>· Coordinate resource capacity across BI Development and Data Engineering teams</p><p>· Maintain visibility into team allocation, availability, and demand trends across the BI portfolio</p><p>· Surface capacity conflicts and over-allocation early; support reallocation decisions</p><p>· Partner with the BI Scrum Master on capacity inputs into sprint planning</p><p>· Support quarterly demand analysis to inform staffing and prioritization</p><p>· Coordinate resourcing and BI execution with peer Project Managers across other IT areas (ePMO, AI, MDM, Integrations, Operational Excellence) to align on shared timelines, dependencies, and capacity tradeoffs</p><p></p><p>Testing and Quality Coordination</p><p>· Coordinate with the business on testing initiatives — including UAT planning, test coordination, and go-live readiness across BI projects</p><p>· Track defects through the testing phase, ensure timely fixes, and manage release schedules</p><p>· Support quality validation and acceptance criteria definition with business sponsors</p><p></p><p>KPI Development and Performance Monitoring</p><p>· Work with Scrum Master to develop, track, and report on KPIs for team delivery</p><p>· Surface trends and insights to BI leadership on a regular cadence</p><p></p><p>Stakeholder Communication and Reporting</p><p>· Conduct regular status meetings with project teams to manage progress against the project plan and keep members informed of updates and changes</p><p>· Develop and maintain program-level status reporting for BI leadership and stakeholders</p><p>· Publish status reports for sponsors and stakeholders so that issues and solutions are clearly understood</p><p>· Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly to both technical and business audiences</p><p>· Communicate difficult and sensitive information tactfully</p><p>· Establish and maintain relationships with the business, IT partners, and third-party vendors</p><p>· Support documentation standards across the BI portfolio</p><p>· In consultation with the BI Scrum Master, support Customer Coordination facilitating business-facing backlog reviews and prioritization meetings</p><p></p><p>Continuous Improvement</p><p>· Collaborate with a team of Project Managers across the organization to make continuous improvements to project management practices</p><p>· Analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of BI program management processes; recommend and execute improvements</p><p>· Identify opportunities to leverage tooling (Jira, Qlik, etc.) for improved visibility and efficiency</p><p>· Contribute to the long-term maturation of BI program management practices</p><p>Must-Have Qualifications</p><p>Education and Certification</p><p>· Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate's degree minimum</p><p>· PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, or Certified Scrum Master strongly preferred</p><p>Experience</p><p>· 5–7 years of project or program management experience</p><p>· Experience managing complex, large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders</p><p>· Demonstrated experience managing BI, analytics, or data engineering projects — including familiarity with analytics tools such as Qlik, Power BI, or comparable platforms, and data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake or equivalent</p><p>· Experience managing projects within or adjacent to a major ERP implementation (e.g., Infor M3, SAP, Oracle, or similar large-scale ERP programs)</p><p>· Strong Agile/Scrum working knowledge, with the ability to partner effectively with a Scrum Master and Agile delivery team</p><p>· Proficiency in Jira for portfolio visibility, capacity tracking, and program reporting</p><p>· Experience managing concurrent, cross-functional, technical workstreams with multiple stakeholders across IT and business</p><p>· Experience coordinating business-led testing activities (UAT, regression, go-live readiness)</p><p>· Experience developing work breakdown structures and detailed project plans</p><p>· Ability to create reports, analyses, and scorecards for the management team</p><p>· Experience operating in a global, multi-region environment</p><p>Skills and Attributes</p><p>· Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail</p><p>· Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills</p><p>· Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills</p><p>· Focused and assertive with a strong customer service orientation</p><p>· Goal-oriented, highly self-motivated, and directed</p><p>· Able to exercise independent judgment, effectively prioritize, and execute tasks while under pressure</p><p>· Able to operate in ambiguity and shape process where none exists</p><p>· Demonstrated leadership within a dynamic and fast-paced team environment</p><p>· Willing to be flexible in schedule, make infrequent overnight travel, and work occasional overtime</p><p>· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)</p><p>· Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or comparable tools</p><p></p><p>Victaulic is an Equal Employment Opportunity <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word;
